It obviously creases less when I only use a tiiiny bit, but that won’t cover my undereye circles.

Is it really creaseless? Nope, not on me anyway. Right: with the rest of my makeup (including setting powder under the eyes). Middle: with the Tarte concealer under my eyes, on my eyelids, on/around my nose, on my chin, and on spots. – Not the most flattering angle when you’re face is asymmetric as f*ck haha! Left: without any makeup. When I apply the concealer without a BB cream/foundation underneath it seems to settle into my pores and therefore accentuate them (even in combination with a smoothing primer), so I’m not a fan of it on its own. After application it still feels quite tacky, and looks very dewy. With a brush (I’ve tried a couple of different ones) it doesn’t blend well at all! It stays quite streaky and I have to go in with a sponge or my fingers afterwards.
#Tarte creaseless concealer skin#
This kind of worried me the first couple of times I applied it! I found that on my skin it blends best with a (damp) sponge or my fingers, especially under my eyes. It doesn’t apply as smoothly as most other concealers I’ve tried because of its sticky consistency. The concealer looks quite thick and sticky on the applicator. It’s supposed to be waterproof, and according to Tarte a little goes a long way. The concealer promises to ”completely cover dark circles, hyperpigmentation and redness”, without creasing or looking cakey. I got the colour ”13N Fair-Light Neutral” which is a decent match for me, both when I’m at my palest (like now) and when I have a slight tan. On Tarte’s website the concealer costs €27,00 for some reason. I personally think the packaging is quite cute! The concealer costs €26,00 a pop and I got mine at Sephora while I was in France. The Tarte Creaseless Concealer comes in a sleek little tube with a doe foot applicator.

Not saying more expensive products are always better than drugstore products though! Anyway, let’s just get into the review haha!

A higher price point means that I have higher expectations of this concealer than I would of a drugstore concealer. From one of the most inexpensive beauty products I own, to one of the most expensive! Today I’ll be reviewing a concealer with quite a steep price point (in my opinion of course).
